Integrative psychotherapy using a holistic approach is an expanded version of traditional talk therapy. It includes the traditional therapy experience either as a standalone or with additional modalities that include the mind-body-spirit connection.
Just like traditional therapy, there is talking and meaning-making - looking back at your childhood, and exploring how your past might still be impacting your present.
Past life regression answers questions of today by revisiting the past; there might also be mind-body practices such as hypnotherapy, mindfulness, Reiki or crystal healing which can be used to help you go deeper into your Self, your psyche, your pain and your power.
If you’re tired of living in survival mode, therapy provides an opportunity to help you change outdated patterns of being in the world, heal from your past, and finally create a life that you enjoy. Whatever you are struggling with, healing and change are always possible, even with trauma. It can feel like endless cycles of nervous system dysregulation, leaving you constantly disconnected from yourself and others or overwhelmed by intense emotions that seem to come out of nowhere. You might feel 'broken', and stuck in self-sabotaging patterns that you just can't seem to shake. This can develop from obvious trauma, but also from the subtle wounds of not receiving the nurturing and support you needed to thrive. You need to be ready to heal these deep wounds and finally feel at home in your body and your life.
Maybe you’re looking for support to rebuild trust after infidelity, find a passionate connection again or navigate parenthood together. But when you’re feeling disconnected from your partner or are experiencing anger, numbness, fear or betrayal, your deepest pain and wounds can arise. You might find yourself wondering….am I really worthy of being loved? Will my partner ever really understand me? Can we heal from this?
Your relationship is sacred, and you know that when you’re feeling connected to your partner, life just seems to ‘work’ better. You feel more confident, at peace and at ease in life and love. Now you’re wondering if anything will ever change. Well, healing and moving forward is always possible. In couples therapy you will learn how to communicate from the heart, be your best self in the relationship and cultivate deep intimacy.
It can be uncertain and challenging being a child or young person these days. If you’re a parent looking to support your child or are a young person struggling with anxiety or depression, stress or social pressures, therapy can help. If you’re searching for a safe place to land as you navigate your relationships, school, stress, anxiety and depression, therapy can support you.
For children and young people there are some phases of life which are filled with possibility and excitement, as well as stress, pressure, and an ever-increasing list of demands from the world around you. A holistic approach to therapy helps navigate the stress and overwhelm of living in our world today and honours the mind, body, and spirit connection to live life with less stress and more ease.
Family Systems therapy recognises that within each of us exists an inner family of parts, each carrying their own emotions, beliefs, and memories. Like members of any family, these parts each play unique roles in your life—influencing everything from your relationships and self-worth to how you move through the world. Through family therapy, you'll learn to connect with your different parts with curiosity and compassion, understanding what each one needs to heal. When you learn what your parts need, and learn how to care deeply for yourself, you can finally heal the parts and places within you that have been wounded, abandoned or underdeveloped.
Family therapy works by helping you identify and understand all your different parts, including their roles, emotions, and underlying motivations. By cultivating empathy and curiosity toward these parts of yourself, you can work towards healing past wounds, resolving conflicts, and achieving a more balanced and integrated sense of self.
